How did you use media technologies in construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?
I used my fujifilm camera for producing my digipak ad poster. The camera came into great use when needing a front cove for my album cover, a picture for the poster and various pictures for inside of the digipak. The camera's quality is quite good, however the picture didn't come out the way i wanted. I think this was mainly because of the lighting, but with a more focused camera, i may have got a better image. I also used my camera for taking pictures when on the set of my music video, and when planning and researching for my blog, e.g set and hair/make-up pictures etc.
Video Camera:
I used a video camera, when producing my music video. The camera was one of the school's and wasn't too bad. It wasn't the best quality, but did the job that i needed it for. The camera tri-pod was also useful (especially because my video was set in the attic) for making it smaller and twisting it around. With my set being set in an attic, i needed the camera in a short position most of the time, so it was very handy. Mac's:
I used the macs to edit and upload my footage. With the macs being quite old in school, there's not much that you can do with footage. However, the stuff i could do with it was enough and did the job OK. The macs can sometimes be slow, but with the amount of time i had things got done to a good standard and in plenty of time.
These products all made my life easier when producing my coursework. Without these i wouldn't of been able to do anything. They all helped; the mac's for uploading and editing in a good way, the camera; for getting a reasonably good quality image and the video camera's for producing my music video and making it easier for me to move the camera around with the tripod. The all inked together in the end. I used the video camera and digital camera to produce my work and then the macs for editing my work to have a completed final piece. For my evaluation stage i used a normal computer to produce my work and then post it to my blog.
