Costume:
I want my characters to look bold and Indie. To do this i have created a list of costume that I'd like to include in my video. I have decided to dress my characters in just a plain black top, black skinny jeans and biker boots. I think just a plain costume will make their bold make-up standout more. I want my main character to wear a fur coat over the top and my other character to wear a denim coat. In one of the Yeah Yeah Yeah video's, Karen o wears a fur coat, and the denim jacket was inspirational to me off a different video of a similar style. I also want both of my characters to wear bold make-up, like red lipstick, because i feel that it gives off an indie rock star effect. Minimal jewellery and sunglasses will also be worn. I will be using a guitar as one of my props to again add to the creation of an indie scene.






Set:

I want to create a messy/derelict scene. To do this i will use a minimalistic, very indie bedroom. I will make it look messy by pulling the sheet covers half off and re-arranging things so it looks untidy. I also want to use an outdoor space. Because i want to create a derelict scene, i want to set most of my video among derelict buildings if possible. (Location Pictures to be added)

Hair & Make-up:

I want my characters hair to be quite messy and backcombed. On the make-up side of things. I want my characters to have dark eye make-up and bright red lipstick as i feel it represents an indie type look and will also look similar to Karen O.
